PTA Reflections Composition Contest

Our classes participated in the PTA Reflections composition contest. Its funny that the contest is still asking music composers to submit their compositions on staff paper. Our students are composing on computers, using virtual instruments, using reverbs, delays, glitching. Using envelopes to change filters, low frequency oscillators, and change tempos. We sample sounds and pitch shift, reverse, and warp them. We create all the parts drums, bass, comping, and melody and then arrange them or perform live DJ style.
