Hip Hop as Lit Class creating videos

Our Hip Hop as Literature elective is a really fun class. They study the Hip Hop genre as it relates to Literature. Some projects include rewriting famous rap lyrics and applying them to current events. Future projects include collaborating with various live music ensembles on campus to make student Hip Hop.

On a recent project, students used their phones to record all around the campus various peers and staff reciting the lyrics to Rappers Delight by the Sugar Hill Gang. These videos will then be collected and edited into a fun music video featuring the Kealing family :)
